Pareidolia in the Curtains

 Pareidolia in the Curtains

Pareidolia, seeing things that aren’t

In the trees, in the clouds, even in the curtains

Faces human, animal, or otherwise

This morning, a man in a top hat

In the light cast by the sun

And the shadow by the trees

Also a racoon, a bear, faces small and large,

Comical and fierce

A curtain populated by figures in light and shadow
