 Shakespearean Coins

Here’s my brief statement on war, utilizing phrases coined by Shakespeare. His

     phrases are in parentheses.

“In my mind’s eye” both sides have at their core a “heart of gold.” But that’s “cold comfort” in this “brave new  world” which “ beggars all description.” There’s nothing but “sound and fury.” For sure it’s “much ado about nothing,” a “fool’s paradise,” “a plague on both their houses.” They must return to love, for “love is blind,” the “milk of human kindness.”
